Vaccine Skepticism Is Justified

As COVID-19 continues to remain a part of our lives, solutions continue to be sought. There are numerous vaccines in the works, some now approved and being administered to the public. As an elderly woman in the United Kingdom became the first member of the general public to receive the Pfizer vaccine this week, it once again became a major topic of conversation. However, opinion is divided over whether or not the vaccine is truly safe, even when the companies that produce it claim it is. But these companies have also made themselves non-liable for any issues and adverse effects from these vaccines, so can we really trust them?

Vaccines typically take 8-10 years to create. In this way, they are generally safe, and are unlikely to result in any major issues. Sure, those who have them may experience some minor side effects, but nothing that will be especially harmful to them. The vaccines being produced now for COVID-19 were created in less than one year. So what does that say about them? They were rushed. And when something is rushed, a multitude of things can go wrong.

You do not need to look far to see the problems with this. It is reminiscent of the thalidomide epidemic, where the drug was said to be safe, but ended up resulting in the deaths of around 80,000 babies worldwide and deformities of a further 20,000. It has also been associated with a higher occurrence of blood clots and nerve and blood disorders. Yet it is still approved by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for the treatment of inflammation from Hansen’s disease and as a chemotherapeutic agent for patients with multiple myeloma.

Then there was the vaccine created by the World Health Organization (WHO) that was used to immunize people in less developed countries against tetanus. In reality, WHO researchers had conjugated the tetanus toxoid (TT) with human chorionic gonadotropin (hCG). This combination, when administered to a woman, results in the immune system attacking the pregnancy hormones. This led to two possible scenarios when administered to women. If the woman was pregnant, she would lose her baby. If she was not pregnant, she would become infertile. In 2014, it was found that this kind of “birth-control vaccine” was being used in Kenya. Although the WHO denied it, three accredited independent biochemistry laboratories in Nairobi tested samples from the vials of the WHO’s tetanus vaccine and found hCG was present when it should not have been. This was quite possibly an attempt at depopulation, something which seems to be on the cards again now.

Already, there are issues with the COVID-19 vaccine. For example, two UK nurses who received it within the first 24 hours of it being made public developed significant allergic reactions. As a result, the public were warned against getting the vaccine if they suffered from severe allergies. Yet this may only be one of the milder adverse effects of the vaccine. There were also four cases of Bell’s Palsy. The FDA have written up a “draft working list of possible adverse event outcomes” of the COVID-19 vaccines. These include: Guillain-Barré syndrome (which causes paralysis), acute disseminated encephalomyelitis, transverse myelitis, encephalitis, myelitis, encephalomyelitis, meningoencephalitis, meningitis, encephalopathy, convulsions, seizures, stroke, narcolepsy, cataplexy, anaphylaxis, acute myocardial infarction, myocarditis, pericarditis, autoimmune disease, other acute demyelinating disease, non-anaphylactic allergic reactions, thrombocytopenia, disseminated intravascular coagulation, venous thromboembolism, arthritis and arthralgia/joint pain, Kawasaki disease, multisystem inflammatory syndrome in children, pregnancy and birth outcomes, vaccine enhanced diseases, and death.

That is a lot of possible adverse outcomes for a vaccine that is supposed to be the world’s saving grace. Those adverse effects are no walk in the park either. Paralysis, heart attack, brain diseases, autoimmune diseases, problems with blood clots; all of these can have life-changing consequences and can even result in death. And then there are the pregnancy and birth outcomes. Already it has been made known that the vaccine may leak through when breastfeeding, and that it may have an effect on fertility. Keep in mind the WHO have done this before. And isn’t it interesting that those who have for years said that the world is overpopulated are now claiming they have a vaccine to save everyone from a virus that has been overhyped by governments, media, and “experts” and has a 99.9% recovery rate? Surely that raises skepticism in any rational human being.

Here are the other important things you need to know about the vaccine (and this is where I’m glad I studied biology). It uses MRC-5, which is code for the cells of an aborted foetus. This creates a significant moral dilemma for those who are against abortion, of which there are many. The Pfizer vaccine, which is already being distributed and administered to the public in the UK and is set to roll out in Canada within the week, also uses modified mRNA (messenger ribonucleic acid). RNA is complimentary to DNA. Messenger RNA, or mRNA, is a single stranded molecule of RNA which corresponds to the genetic sequence of a gene, read by a ribosome (a particle consisting of RNA and associated proteins found in large numbers in the cytoplasm of living cells) in the process of synthesizing a protein. Now mRNA can be encoded to create certain proteins, and thus in the case of the vaccine, the mRNA to be injected into people would be modified for the purpose of creating an immune response to COVID-19. However, just as mRNA can be modified for good, it can also be modified for malicious purposes. Some vaccines are even exploring the use of DNA, which is concerning, given either of these could result in changes to the genetic makeup of the human body, in turn amounting to any number of health problems, from mutations resulting in cancers to autoimmune diseases. Playing around with genetic material is a dangerous game.

Just to cap it off, there were 6 deaths in Pfizer’s late-stage trial of their vaccine. This was revealed just hours before the vaccine began being administered to members of the public in the UK. Four of these were on the placebo (control), but 2 were given the complete vaccine. The deaths are conveniently being blames on obesity and heart problems. What is interesting is that when it comes to COVID-19 itself, deaths are recorded as COVID deaths even when the patient had another condition that was responsible for their death (eg. Heart problems, cancer, obesity, Alzheimer’s, etc.), which are conveniently ignored. Thereby, it is highly likely that the COVID-19 death tolls are greatly inflated. But when it comes to deaths that are likely attributable to the vaccine, suddenly prior conditions are recognized again. It is highly suspect. Even the testing is off. PCR test kits being used can easily give false positives, so much so that the numbers pertaining to COVID-19 cases are also greatly inflated. This is, of course, to instill fear in the population, so that they will become more subservient to governments and elites.

The vaccine is taken in two shots, spread about 21 days apart, and only provides immunity for around six months. Yet those who get it can still contract the virus and transmit it. And even with the vaccine we are still being told to wear masks and social distance. If the vaccine truly worked well, and was as effective as it has been made out to be, why would these measures still be necessary after distributing it? It doesn’t add up.

So why would any reasonable, rational individual get a vaccine that is 95% effective against COVID-19 when the recovery rate without the vaccine is 99.9%? Why would you get a vaccine that can cause a multitude of debilitating and/or deadly health issues that could either kill you or leave you with a significantly reduced quality of life? Why would anyone who wants to have a family and kids allow a substance to be injected into them that could take away their very ability to do just that? Here is the short answer, they wouldn’t.

Many are already opposed to the vaccine, and with good reason. Many of us who oppose it are labelled as anti-vaxxers or the like. I have been labelled as such myself. Yet I have personally had many vaccines throughout my life thus far. Tetanus shots, annual flu shots, all the meningococcal vaccines, the list goes on. Immunization is important, and I am generally not opposed to it at all. But in the case of the COVID-19 vaccine, I’m concerned, and personally, I would rather wait 5-10 years to see if any adverse effects begin to show (that is how long it can take for some of the health conditions to occur, as it did in the case of the thalidomide epidemic). I would rather not put a rushed vaccine into my body and risk my own health and my future children.

The “cure” may just be worse than the disease.

Truth In A World Of Lies

The world today brings with it many challenges. One of those is locating truth. To find the truth today, one must navigate a sea of lies until they strike buried treasure. Because that is what the truth has become; buried underneath tonnes of untruths and misinformation. If you really want to track it down, you must be willing to put in the effort. Depending on what you are looking for, the level of difficulty in finding it may vary.

When it comes to politics in particular, it is often hard to reach the truth of a matter. The problem is that the media and Big Tech (eg. Facebook, Twitter, Google) engage in the purposeful spreading of disinformation and censorship of the truth. As mentioned in a previous article (Digital War Declared), social media companies like Facebook and Twitter deliberately censor, or indeed take down, certain information that does not fit their narrative (which usually ties in with their ideology). They may even go so far as to suspend accounts that share such information, which is a violation of their Section 230 privileges. Similarly, YouTube takes down videos and channels that spread this information through their platform. They may also demonetize a channel in an attempt to disenfranchise them by removing a source of income. Google also ensure that truthful information is buried by ensuring the stories at the top of your search are from Big Media outlets (eg. CNN, MSNBC, ABC, New York Times, Washington Post, Fox News, or in Australia 9, 7, 10, ABC, The Guardian, Sydney Morning Herald, News.com.au, etc.). To find accurate information, one must look past these outlets and to truly reliable sources. Sometimes this is information straight from the source. It may be government material, documents pertaining to the matter at hand, or even raw, unedited footage.

Deception has become far too great a problem in our world. The media, politicians, and humans in general use deception to get ahead, to get people on their side, to trick people into believing something that is false. This may come in the form of edited clips, or something someone has said taken out of context. When it comes to these kinds of things, context is key. Oftentimes, those who practise deception take things out of context to push a certain narrative. Many are fooled by this tactic and are led to believe something that is untrue. Thus, it is important that when we see a clip, or are told someone has said something in particular, we go looking for the full, unedited footage, speech, quote, or whatever else it may be.

In recent years there has also been a rise in the misconstruing of the word “truth”. The Left have made the phrase “my truth” popular, particularly in the wake of the MeToo movement. But it is important that we do not let truth be conflated with something else. And that is why we must come to understand what truth is, and, adversely, what it is not.

The definition of “truth” is “the quality or state of being true” or “that which is in accordance with fact or reality”. Truth is, at its core, not subjective; it is objective. There is no such thing as “my truth”. There is only “the truth”. The truth is based in reality. It is exact. There is no obscurity around it. Nothing changes it. It just is.

When it comes to the notion of “my truth”, there is a far more accurate term for this. “My truth” is essentially what someone believes to be true. It is, in essence, an opinion. In this sense, what is true to one person may not be true to another. For example, an individual might say “The Office is the greatest television show of all time” and believe that to be true, while another individual could say “Seinfeld is the greatest television show of all time” and believe that to be true. So, one thinks The Office is better than Seinfeld, and vice versa. Obviously, these two individuals do not believe the same thing to be true, thus “their truth” is really just their opinion. Sure, it is true to them, but it is not the truth. I could believe it to be true that Donald Trump is not the President of the United States, however, that would be factually inaccurate and thus not the truth. Truth is therefore not subjective. It must be based in fact.

Then there are the concepts of absolute truth and relative truth. Absolute truth is true at all times and in all places no matter the circumstances. In our world, absolute truth could be something like the colour of a bluebird. A bluebird is blue all the time and in all places no matter what. It is also something that can be found in religion. For example, Christians believe that God created the world and all that lives in it, and that is the absolute truth. We believe that Jesus is “the way, the truth, and the life” (John 14:6). Absolute truth is essentially the foundation of Christianity itself. But there are also those who do not believe absolute truth exists at all. To them, I would pose one simple question: Do you believe that absolutely?

On the other hand, relative truth is the doctrine that all truth is relative to some degree, changing depending on a person’s perspective. For example, one may believe that something is ugly, while the other believes it is beautiful. In cases such as these, truth is based in opinion, thus it is not the truth, but rather one person’s “truth”. Essentially, absolute truth is the truth and relative truth is what would now be referred to as “my truth”.

Truth can be complex in nature. It can therefore be difficult to comprehend. It is however something we must endeavour to understand because it is a key part of our existence in this world. In the modern world, it can be a hard task to get to the truth. Lies and misinformation are being spread all around us, be they deliberate or unwitting. It is oftentimes a laborious undertaking to sift through the lies until you finally locate that sparkling truth. Honesty is a highly respected quality amongst those who hold the truth in good stead. Yet with evil in the world, honesty can become obscured. Human beings can be tempted to lie for their own gain. Many elites do it for money and power. As I’ve touched on in prior pieces, human beings are inherently susceptible to corruption. But that does not mean we should all just let ourselves be overcome by that darkness and write ourselves off. After all, human beings also have free will.

We can choose honesty. We can choose truth.

We have the power to choose. It is our responsibility to do so.

Influence and Impact

Throughout our lives, we meet a lot of people. They enter and exit our lives at different times and for different reasons. Each one of these individuals has a role in the story we call our life. Some may have a minor role, appearing for a few pages, maybe a chapter or two. Others take on a larger part, maybe even sticking around for half the story or more. Regardless of how much they feature, each one of them helps to shape our lives, helps us to learn and to grow. Influence and impact each contribute to our lives through others that we meet along the journey.

The first people to have an influence on us are our parents and families. From the moment we enter this world, they are the ones who raise us, who teach us important life lessons, and who help us to grow to one day do the same for our own children. As we progress through our lives, our family tend to have the greatest influence on the person we become. Be it our parents, siblings, grandparents, aunts, uncles, or cousins, we form connections with them. We often engage in discussions with them that may indeed shape our own perspectives, and they might just help us to learn more about ourselves and how to navigate the journey of life.

As we write new chapters in our lives, we begin to interact with people outside of our families. We start making friends, some of whom will remain a part of our lives for years and decades to come, others exiting stage left or fading into the background after joining our journey for a shorter interval. Sometimes, we may meet people who take a different path to us, but who re-enter our life a few years later when their path converges with our own. These people can have an incredible impact on our lives. In fact, sometimes it is these people who we wish we got to know earlier.

Like any good story, we all meet people who take on the role of a mentor in our life. They could be teachers, coaches, family friends, sometimes even certain family members, etc. They guide us in navigating challenges in our lives and help us soar to new heights. Often there will be multiple mentors who impart their wisdom upon us throughout our lifetime, and it is up to us to use this wisdom to lead a fulfilled life.

But just like those we meet have an impact on our lives, we can also have an impact on theirs. In connecting with our family and friends, in offering our own perspectives, we may be able to help them to uncover things they were yet to realise about themselves and the lives they lead. We might introduce them to something that we can connect more over. We might be able to help them through their own challenges, their own hardships, something that could strengthen our bonds.

We can also have an impact on those who play the parts of mentors in our lives. For example, as students, we learn from our teachers, but teachers can also learn from their students. I’ll give you an example from my own life. In teaching Scripture each week, I always go in with a lesson prepared, ready to ensure my students learn something that they can apply to their own lives. But the incredible thing is when, throughout the course of some lessons I have taught, they provide answers or bring up points that I never would have thought of, and thus I learn from them. Teaching/learning is, at least to some degree, a two-way process: They learn from you, and you learn from them. In addition, students I have taught engage in the lesson, and always seem happy to be there, even thanking me at the end of lessons. These moments all have a sincere impact on me in that I am grateful to be able to share my faith with them and that I am making an impact on their lives by doing so.

I mentioned towards the beginning of this piece that people enter and exit our lives. Reflecting upon this notion, I considered how this is particularly true of friends we have, and how our friend groups can change as we grow. Again, I’ll take from my own experience thus far to demonstrate this point. When I was in primary school, the friends I had changed a few times. I think the first solid friendship I formed came about when I was in Year 3. That friendship has continued throughout primary school, high school, and beyond. I had other friends in primary school who I stuck by for a few years, however, when we all reached high school, we drifted apart and formed new friend groups. Again, I met many people throughout high school that I formed connections with to varying degrees, however, I only remained close with three (one being the aforementioned friend from my primary school days) after graduating from high school. That being said, there have since been other people from my high school days that have re-entered my life, or indeed entered it in the sense that I didn’t really know them before. One of these connections that formed has had a profound impact on my life for the better. As I said before, it is these people, those whose path is different to ours but then later converges with our own, who we wish we got to know earlier. The impact others can have on our lives, even when we have known them only for a short time, is incredible.

As we write the story of our lives, we will find that each chapter brings with it an array of characters, some old, some new. They will impact our lives in different ways, yet no matter what, will remain a part of the story that we create for ourselves. But it is important to remember that, although there are many noteworthy people in our stories from the beginning, some of the most important ones will come later on, sometimes when we least expect it.

Bringing Religion and Politics Back To The Table

There has long been an unspoken rule observed by many to “never discuss politics or religion in polite company”. That means refraining from discussing these two topics in the presence of family and friends. This line of thinking serves one purpose and one purpose only: to avoid conflict. But as human beings, how are we expected to learn if not from each other. Yes, it may be uncomfortable at times to discuss religion and politics, but that does not mean they should not be discussed at all. We should be willing to listen to each other and engage in an open dialogue over these matters.

It is only natural that each individual will have their own worldview. Their political views may be shaped by their own personal experiences, by reading, watching various political commentators, or even by what they see and hear in the news. They may also be influenced by what they are told throughout their time in the education system. Ideally, each person will think for themselves and form their own political views. When it comes to religion, some may find their way to a religion on their own, while others may be brought up in one. Either way, it ultimately becomes our own choice to be religious and to follow God.

When it comes to discussing these topics with others, there is always going to be a difference of thought and opinion between us. That is to be expected, considering we are all individuals. Some will be religious, others will not. Some will be Conservative, others Left Wing. This means that there will be various sides to each point discussed. It goes without saying that discourse will undoubtedly arise. It is how we go about having such discourse that matters.

First, it is important to keep the discussion civil. This means no yelling matches. If people are just shouting at each other, no one is going to get their point across. In order to be able to have a civil debate and learn from each other, we must present our point in a clear and collected manner. In the same vein, we must listen to arguments opposing our own so that we may understand the other person’s point of view and formulate a response.

When it comes to making a claim, it is crucial that we are able to back it up. In this way, we can show others that what we say is not just some contrived falsehood but holds its place in reality. We cannot spout conjecture in the hope it changes someone’s mind. (Also, just a note on fact-checking here. Fact-checking websites each have their own biases, some Left, some Right. Thus, it is difficult to determine the accuracy of fact-checks. I say this because family and friends, or anyone for that matter, who are having a political discussion may decide to fact-check a claim.)

There are also several debating flaws that should be steered clear of when having discussions surrounding religion and politics. As mentioned before, it is not beneficial to anyone for those discussing a topic to yell at each other. In addition to this, never resort to insults and personal attacks. These are not arguments. Rather, they are the hallmarks of failing ones. If you find that the only thing you can use to retort someone’s argument is to call them a racist, a sexist, a homophobe, a transphobe, a bigot or whatever else (there are far too many to list), that says more about the strength of their argument than the substance of yours. In that same vein, never call your opponent a Nazi. In fact, never insinuate that your opponent’s views are aligned with Nazism (generally this happens more so to Conservatives). As a general rule when it comes to political debates, the first person to invoke the Nazis has lost.

For far too long, politics and religion have been shunned from discussion amongst family and friends at gatherings. It should not have to be this way. Yes, these subjects encompass a wide range of issues, and can be polarizing, but that should not prevent us from discussing them in kind with each other. Isabel Brown of Turning Point USA put it best when she said “Politics and religion are subjects that belong around the dinner table. It’s time to learn how to articulate what we believe and why we believe it.” She is spot on.

We must be able to have these discussions, just as we must be able to have any other discussion with others. We should be able to clearly articulate our views on different issues and explain why we hold them. And most importantly, we must do this in such a manner that is civil and prevents a breakdown of family ties. We should never shun our own family simply because they hold opposing views to our own. That is unnecessary and over-the-top. Religion and politics should not tear families apart, but families should be able to get past political and religious differences and be willing to hold civil discussions with each other on such matters.

When it comes to friendships, it is interesting how friendships that have lasted for years can collapse all because of political differences. Generally, when such a thing occurs, it is a person with Left Wing views that attacks and/or shuns their friend who has made it known they are Conservative. Conservatives are generally more willing to listen to opposing viewpoints and debate them. And while there are some on the Left who are willing to take this approach, there are many who would rather lash out at their friend and have nothing more to do with them. Politics sometimes really shows you who your true friends are (and yes, believe it or not, it is possible for those with opposing views to be friends).

Religion and politics should not be taboo subjects amongst friends and family. They should be discussed openly and honestly so that we can understand each other’s worldviews. Civil discussion and debate are good things. It is healthy to engage in them. After all, these exchanges can be valuable, and give us insight into the lives and thoughts of others. We should bring religion and politics back to the table and allow the discussion to flow.

Divide And Conquer: The Importance of Unity

Division is a weapon of mass destruction. People use it to tear others apart so that they can take advantage and further their own agenda. Politicians are major perpetrators of this tactic. They create a divide between the public by means of identity politics, that is, grouping people by their race, gender, age, sexuality, ethnicity, or whatever other characteristics they can come up with. They then stoke the flames of division by turning these groups on each other. Why? Because while the people are fighting each other, politicians can bring about radical changes under the cover of darkness to create their own political “utopia”, which typically centres around money and power.

Identity politics is a product of the Left. It is one of the most destructive forces on the planet. It tears people apart. It comes between families, friendships, and relationships. It can ruin lives. When people are grouped by their identity, they are viewed in a certain way. In fact, those who inflict identity politics on a society typically have a set of ways that individuals in each group should think. If someone were to break the mold, they would be cast out by their group, viewed as a traitor. For example, in the United States in particular, those on the Left believe black people should vote Democrat. If one were to vote Republican, they are labelled as a “race-traitor” or an “Uncle Tom”. Even Joe Biden said, “If you have a problem figuring out if you’re for me or Trump, then you ain’t black”. These are disgusting slurs used to divide and stoke hatred, even amongst those in the same identity group. The same occurs in groups like the LGBTQ community. There is again an expectation that this group will vote Democrat, or any Left-Wing Party in a country for that matter. Yet when people in this group vote for Republicans, or any Conservative Party or politician, they are again cast out, accused of hating their own people.

This is exactly what the Left want. They want division, even amongst the groups they construct. They want the people fighting against each other, so that they do not turn on them. If there is one thing politicians and governments fear more than anything, it is unity. When people stand united against them, it scares the living daylights out of them. It is very easy to defend against one person, or a smaller group. But when citizens amass and join together in solidarity to rail against those in power, it puts them at risk of losing it.

There’s a quote that goes like this: “A single bee is ignored. But when millions come together, even the bravest run in fear. The one thing the government fears is the day we stand together.” This analogy sums up the balance of power in this world so very well. One person purporting a cause can have an impact in a smaller setting. But when it comes to governments, to those who have far too much power over the people, only a united front of hundreds of thousands, even millions of people, will work. This is why governments do all they can to stop revolutions. A revolution can remove power from politicians, and liberate the public, bringing the scales of power back into balance.

Politicians, however, are power hungry. Even in democracies, where we the people give them the privilege of certain power, they are not satisfied with what they are gifted. Power is like a drug. It is addictive. Those who come into power are never placated by the reasonable amount they are given by those who put them there, so they look for ways of obtaining more, even if it is at the detriment of those who elected them. Because, like a drug, power corrupts. It changes people, even those who seem pure. For those who are not so pure, it is far worse. This is where tyranny can occur.

All you need do is look at the current state of the world under COVID19. This virus has given politicians the perfect opportunity to seize more power than should be permitted to them. They achieved this via the creation of fear and division in society. They instill fear in people to make them think that the only way to beat this virus is to listen to and obey them. People become divided over the response, and fight against each other, rather than fighting back against the governments who are giving themselves more unwarranted powers at the expense of the freedoms of the public. This is how tyranny replaces democracy. The ultimate goal of these governments is ultimate power with complete subservience from the people. They want you to act like sheep. See, “The secret of freedom lies in educating people, whereas the secret of tyranny is in keeping them ignorant” (Maximilien Robespierre). They want full control over your lives. It is unacceptable. Yet people would rather sit by and watch others attempt to fight for them, rather than step up and fight themselves. Some would rather just pretend nothing is happening. This is how they get their way.

Some people can already see what people in power are attempting to do. They are awake to reality. It is not very hard to see, considering the people who perpetrate these agendas are no longer being subtle about it, rather blatantly putting it on full display. They overhyped COVID19, made it out to be something far worse than it is. They enforced lockdowns, imprisoning people in their own homes, reducing our contact with other human beings, resulting in more people incurring mental health conditions, increases in calls to suicide hotlines, increases in children presenting to emergency departments with injuries pertaining to self-harm, and overall reducing our natural immunity to disease, thus making us more susceptible to diseases that we would have usually been able to fight off fairly easily. The lockdowns also destroyed businesses, in particular private/small business, the engine of the economy, thus causing economic instability. They enforced masks upon us, which can cause a range of health problems, from rashes to mouth ulcers, fungal infections to staph infections. They even implemented a permit system in Victoria, and they will be doing the same in NSW for New Year’s Eve in Sydney city (The permit system is straight out of the Communist playbook). They are attempting to create an unhealthy and government reliant population. Why? Because this gives them exactly what they want.

Governments around the world want to be hailed as heroes when they inevitably bring in a vaccine. Many leaders have said that this would only end once there is a vaccine. But you have to understand, there is more to this vaccine than meets the eye. When it comes to the vaccine, and practically all that is occurring surrounding COVID19, I suggest you read the Book of Revelation. Yes, it is concerning, but it is likely to occur if our democracies, our rights and freedoms, and our way of life are all destroyed and rebuilt into something they never should be. There’s a reason they’re using the slogan Build Back Better.

If we don’t want to see the rise of depopulation, complete subservience to government, great restrictions on our lives and so forth, we cannot allow ourselves to become divided by those in power. Over 100 years, Communism killed over 100 million people, be it directly or through the famine it resulted in. They are already talking about food shortages hitting as early as next year. That should concern everyone. I think most sane people can agree that Communism is a bad thing. Just look at the living hell the Soviet Union was for those who lived through it. If you need any reminder, or some good insight, read The Gulag Archipelago. If we don’t stand up together to protect our democracies and all they entail, we are going to end up headed down a road that only globalist elites wish to take, a one way highway to Global Communism, where there are two classes: the technocrats, and everyone else.

Identity politics and COVID19 are only tools for something far worse. Now more than ever we cannot afford to be divided. Division only results in weakness. Right now, our hopes of ensuring we do not end up on the road to hell lie in the hands of President Donald Trump and his legal team. Thankfully, he has a team of stellar lawyers, some of the best in the world. They are fighting hard, and we should all be grateful that they are. They are fighting to prevent tyranny. As Lord John Dalberg-Acton once said, “The one pervading evil of democracy is the tyranny of the majority, or rather of the party, not always the majority, that succeeds, by force or fraud, in carrying elections.” This is reflective of what the Democrats and their allies are attempting to do right now. This is what the President and his lawyers are fighting against. But this is not merely a fight between Trump and the Democrats. It is much more than that.

This is a fight between Western Civilization and a new power. The outcome will determine the fate of the world. If this new power wins, the world will become a living hell. If, however, Trump wins, he will take down all those who conspired against him, who attempted to undermine and subvert American democracy, and Western Civilization will rise again.

As I spoke to in a piece I published last week, this is the ultimate battle between Good and Evil. For Christians, it is more than an Earthly battle. It is a battle between God and the devil. There is a story from Isaiah in the Old Testament of Cyrus the Great. Cyrus was the first ruler of the Persian Empire, a pagan who God chose to bring down Babylon and issue a decree that would allow the Jews to return to Jerusalem. Even though Cyrus was a pagan, he was still used by God to fulfill His will and bring the Jews back to their home country, which is now modern Israel.

Now compare this to the old story of Biblical times to the modern world. When President Trump came into power, there was great conflict in the Middle East, particularly between Israel and Palestine. Trump has worked hard and used his position to do a lot of good for Israel, beginning with moving the embassy to Jerusalem to officially recognize it as the capital, and over the last few months negotiating peace deals between Middle Eastern countries. Most of these have included Israel. The Abraham Accords, the name given to these peace deals, include deals between Israel and Bahrain, Israel and the United Arab Emirates (UAE), and Israel and Saudi Arabia. Others have already made it known they wish to join these countries in the Accords. Trump is building up Israel, while Democrats seek to oppose this. See the parallels?

Trump may not be the greatest Christian, but he has shown he is in favour of religious freedom. He also holds many of the same values that Christians hold, including being pro-life and against war. Remember, Cyrus was a pagan himself. Yet God still chose to work through him. I would argue that President Trump is the modern-day Cyrus. God chooses to work through all manners of different people. Right now, Donald Trump is that person. And we must hope and pray that he is triumphant. Because if he is not, it will not just impact the United States of America, but the entire world.

And while Trump and his team fight for the fate of the world, we must stand up and make our own voices heard. We must rally behind them, united as one against politicians and governments who seek to usher in a new normal. Because there will be nothing normal about it. If you want to keep your lives and freedom as they are, if you want to ensure there will be generations to come, if you want to prevent the world becoming a living hell, then you need to stand up and fight. We can no longer remain silent as many of us choose to do. As Irish statesman and philosopher Edmund Burks said, “All tyranny needs to gain a foothold is for people of good conscience to remain silent.” We have been quiet for far too long. Now is the time to make our voices heard. We cannot allow them to divide us. We must stand united as one. We must protect this world from those who seek to destroy it.

United we stand. Divided we fall.
